As our Anna whiled away a lazy spring afternoon picnicking on the river bank, a flurry of movement interrupted her reverie...an adventure was about to begin!

As a white rabbit with a pocket watch scurried by, calling out to her, “What a marvellous sky blue dress you have on, my dear!” the curious Anna followed after, thinking that such a dapper fellow simply must have somewhere splendid to be.

A dark rabbit hole wasn't quite the location she had in mind, but undeterred, Anna pressed on...

She soon came across a rather intoxicated caterpillar. “My girl, you do look a vision all in red and white,” exclaimed the caterpillar, who clearly had been smoking his hookah a while. But wait! Somehow her frock really had changed. “Curiouser and curiouser,” thought Anna. Catching the faint sound of clinking china, she slipped away quietly...

After her last encounter, a nice civilised cup of Earl Grey with a local milliner seemed just the ticket. But the Hatter seemed quite Mad! “Why, your floral dress is divine, my lady. It matches our china rather well!” he exclaimed. “So it does!” thought Anna, and now dreadfully puzzled, but with a super new hat in place, she set off once more...

Admiring her new chapeau and feeling positively regal, Anna almost tripped over the white rabbit. “There you are, your majesty,” he cried. “Make way for our very own Queen of Hearts, a picture in her red and white sweetheart gown!” came the announcement. Anna didn't notice the King of Hearts at first. “Ah, my dear,” he said. “Let's get you into your royal robe. It's just like mine, you see...”

Because shapeless clothes are a fate worse than death for any girl, Anna ran away as fast as her exquisitely-shod feet could carry her. The King's courtiers stopped her momentarily, but only so they could enquire as to where she found such a splendid sky blue frock? Happy to extend the plans for glamorous world domination to Wonderland, Anna sent them on their merry (Hollo)way, and drifted back to her picnic spot by the river.

What a wonderful dream... or was it?
