Assistant for the Buyer/ Product Manager

The Role

We are looking for a new member of our workforce.Do you have a good eye for detail, a good knowledge of and a love of all things Vintage? We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant for the Buyer/ Product Manager in Vivien of Holloway Head Office. This is a full time role and junior position.



What You Will Be Doing Day To Day


    • Supports the Buyer/ Product Manager on the product range, stock take, reordering and deliveries.

    • Keep team informed and up to date on key issues.

    • Works closely with Buyer/ Product Manager to review department performance and develop areas for improvement.

    • Builds effective working relationships both internally (design team, Press Department, London boutique) and externally (Suppliers).

    • Anticipates and resolves problems with deliveries continuing to build stable long term relationships with suppliers.


Must Haves

    • Understanding and passion for 1940s and 1950s fashion

    • Having a strong fashion eye is essential.

    • Good problem solving skills and can take initiative to resolve issues.

    • The ability to perform under pressure and work in a fast paced environment.

    • The ability to communicate effectively at all levels.

    • Manage time effectively by setting and achieving priorities and timescales.
