I was between two sizes and, as the instructions suggested, I went for the larger size. Big mistake, as they are absolutely massive on me! Also, I'm 5'6 and they were super long on me (even too long to wear them rolled up), so I'd advise avoiding this style if you are shorter than me. This was my first time ordering from Vivien of Holloway, so perhaps my dissatisfaction comes from being unfamiliar with their sizing system. Other than that, these trousers are gorgeous and great quality! I'll just have to get them tailored before I can actually wear them.

So so happy to have these! I was looking everywhere for a good pair of 40s style trousers that would work for someone with a long torso, as most jeans I found wouldn't hit anywhere near my natural waist. These are PERFECT though! They're also very long in the leg, so great for rolling up, and they're made of a nice feeling denim that should soften up to be extra comfortable as they get worn in.

My second pair of the denim ones, the denim is superb on the later ones, very stiff, they are very long which at 5'10 I am thrilled about, I get a good turn up, I didnt think the waist would fit when I opened them, was happy to get in them !

I totally love these pants. Really fun swooshy style and flattering. This is my second colored pair. I feel like the fit is accurate to the size measurements.

Bought the 34 waist in the blue ones which is spot on, they are a lot looser round the bottom and hips than they look in the photos though! Still I like them a lot and are very comfy.

I love these! I now have two pairs in blue and a black pair as they are so flattering on the bottom, as well as being practical to wear. I wear mine for everything: to work as a Nanny; to teach dance in; to go out dancing in; and they are so comfy to travel in. The most used item of clothing in my wardrobe!
