FITTING INFORMATION

These Duchess dresses come up small so you may want to think about sizing up.

Our striking 1950s Halterneck Pencil Dress is the ultimate hourglass silhouette. Cut to flatter and sculpt, it combines timeless glamour with the structure and craftsmanship we are known for.

Featuring our signature boned and fully lined bodice, this design supports and shapes without the need for additional shapewear. The sweetheart neckline enhances the bust, while the halterneck frame the shoulders beautifully. The internal boning lifts the bust into a subtle vintage-inspired bullet shape and gently defines the waist for a sleek, feminine line reminiscent of screen sirens such as Jayne Mansfield.

The pencil skirt falls to 28 inches, skimming the hips and tapering elegantly below the knee for that classic 1950s silhouette. Perfect for cocktail parties, weddings, evening events or whenever you want to make an unforgettable entrance.

Fabulous secrets you may not know about our Halter top:

  • If the dress fits perfectly everywhere but feels a little snug on the bust, you can carefully undo the centre tucks to gain up to a full bust size.

  • If the neck band feels too tight or too loose, simply unpick the side tacking and adjust it to your most comfortable length.

Please check our Size Guide to find your perfect fit.

Dry clean only.
