Travels Down Under
| Well, as you ladies may have noticed, I’ve been off on my travels. Come January when things are a little quiet I pop over to Australia. |
| For those of you that may not know, my sister Christine has a shop in Melbourne selling our range. So I spent my time helping get the shop in line with the London store. |
| She has a fine shop there for any of you reading this from down under or intending to visit. A couple of ladies from London popped in while I was there. She also has a great event space out the back called the Hula Hangout where she holds parties, so best get on the mailing list for that. |
| On the local front I enjoyed a night with the local Rockabilly band The Infernos and a couple of great nights at The LuWOW. For those not familiar, it’s a great Tiki Bar on Johnson Street just round the corner from the shop. My friends Josh and Babs own it and have some great nights on there. My sister also puts on some Rockabilly nights there too. So get your Tiki gear on and try out one of their delicious cocktails.

| I had a great time working in the Melbourne store, taking in the sights including Melbourne Night Markets, a ride on Puffing Billy…
|
| … a road trip along the Great Ocean Road, vintage shopping, going to gigs and even made it along to the Melbourne Hotrod and Custom show. It was a scorcher of a day and they had some fabulous cars there. I even met some of the lovely locals.
