Pink Label

Morning ladies, we seem to be having a few discussions about our new Pink Label garments.

The brand Vivien of Holloway was born out of a dream I had to reproduce clothing from the glamour days. I didn’t want to just make clothes in the style of or with a nod to I wanted to actually reproduce the quality and the workmanship. As our label has grown instead of doing what most brands do and look to foreign lands to get things made quickly and cheaply we have in fact reduced the quantities we make of each garment and focus on making the quality the best we possibly can.

I have spent a lot of time over the last 2 years working on making our own fabrics. I don’t want you to ever come face to face with someone wearing the same fabric unless of course, she is a fellow Vivien wearer.

I aim to find/make the best quality and most authentic looking fabric I can so even the most ardent Vintage followers couldn’t tell it wasn’t authentic.

All this does, of course, mean we have had to have a price rise. But the increased quality means you can expect your items to be even more hardwearing and last longer. So we do not make throw away clothing and are expected to be Vintage of the future. You can hand them down to your daughter, granddaughter.

All the ingredients for our delicious designs are sourced as close to home as possible. The manufacturing is done within a 5-mile radius of our office where everything is packed and mailed out to you. For extra help, we use paid fashion interns so we can help new designers get a feel for the industry and enjoy their fresh eye and enthusiasm. We do our best to be as eco-friendly as possible. Even our fabric scraps are sent out to schools and charity workshops. I hope this will give you a good insight into our label and appreciate the difference and that as we strive for perfection the prices may rise accordingly.
